Kelly Dodd Already Has Some Major Plans for Life After Her Divorce
The #RHOC mom is moving on and moving out.
Kelly Dodd is ready to start her next chapter. As The Real Housewives of Orange County mom prepares to end her 11-year marriage to husband Michael Dodd, she is also looking to start fresh in a brand-new home.
Kelly recently sold her $6 million Corona del Mar home, which was in the works before she announced her plans to divorce her husband, according to ET. She will be moving out in the coming weeks. Kelly has even enlisted the help of a fellow Bravoleb to sell her home: Real Estate Wars' Leo Goldschwartz.
The RHOC mom is now in the market for "a more suburban house" for her and her 10-year-old daughter Jolie. “Jolie's really interested in having, like, a trampoline, a backyard, perhaps a pool,” she told ET. “[Also, more] security. Being behind a guard gate is really my main concern.”
Kelly shared her plans to divorce Michael in an interview with The Daily Mail in late September. "It's just a case where two people can't get along," Kelly said. "It's best if we went our separate ways and concentrate on our daughter."
Kelly also previously opened up to ET about what led to her decision to divorce Michael. “It was just, it was not working,” she said. “I guess everyone has a final straw, I just … it was like, just disagreements all the time.”
She also shared her hopes that she and Michael can have an amicable relationship moving forward. “We're really good friends,” she said. “He's my family. He's part of my family, and he always will be, you know? I always want him in my life. We always want to do things together with [our 10-year-old daughter], Jolie, and it was just, we just can't live together. That's it."
