Katie Maloney-Schwartz Reacts to Lala Kent's Engagement and Reflects on Their Friendship: "I’m Inspired by You"
Even though she and Lala have "definitely been through it," the SURver couldn't be happier for her friend.
Lala Kent is wearing a $150,000 engagement ring from her fiancé Randall Emmett, but the Hollywood producer isn't the only one who's showering the SURver with love. Though Lala and Katie Maloney-Schwartz had a rocky start, the two have become close friends. And now, Katie has taken to social media to sing Lala's praises as she prepares to head to the altar.
On September 3, Lala's 28th birthday, Katie posted a snap of herself and the birthday girl on Instagram. "So much love for my Lala today! Happy birthday baby, and so much congrats on the engagement!" she wrote. She went on to reflect: "We definitely have been through it but I’m so happy to have got to know you and your beautiful heart. You are a strong woman and I’m inspired by you."
Not only is Katie a supportive friend — she's also (relatively) newly married herself, having just celebrated her second wedding anniversary with husband Tom Schwartz this past August. We have a feeling Katie will be on standby as Lala and Randall begin the process of wedding planning. And in the meantime, the Vanderpump Rules gang was by Lala's side as she celebrated her birthday and her engagement in Las Vegas over Labor Day weekend.
