Kathy Wakile's Daughter Feeling "Thankful" a Year After Surgery
#RHONJ daughter Victoria shares an update on her health on Instagram.
In April 2014, Kathy Wakile's daughter, Victoria, had brain surgery to remove a benign brain tumor. It marked the second time in a decade that she had to undergo the procedure.
Now with a year of recovery behind her, the daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey 'Wife is letting everyone know she's feeling better. "NOTHING else matter[s] when I hear the GOOD NEWS!" Victoria shares on Instagram. "A little over a year post op and my brain is behaving. thankful for my God sent angel on Earth, Dr. Neil Feldstein!"
Last September, Kathy opened up to the Daily Dish about her daughter's health crisis, noting that she was well on her way to getting better. "We feel so incredibly blessed," she said at the time. "Victoria is feeling wonderful and strong. We were very fortunate to have the finest neurosurgeon, Dr. Neil Feldstein, perform her surgery as he did 10 years ago along with the excellent medical staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital."
Victoria certainly hasn't let anything keep her down in the last year. She's been keeping busy the same way most young people do: by hanging out with her pals, getting her hair done and, of course, getting in some time with her mom.
