Kathryn C. Dennis Claps Back at Landon Clements' Social Climber Comments: "Girl You Are Messy"
"The only thing I'm trying to climb are my own mountains," the #SouthernCharm mom said.
Kathryn C. Dennis is trying to get back on good terms with her fellow Charmers, but they're definitely not making it easy. Though the Southern Charm mom may not have been invited to Patricia Altschul's Indian-themed dinner party, she ended up being a major topic of conversation during the evening as the rest of the crew debated whether or not they're ready to move on in their friendship with her.
Things got heated after Whitney Sudler-Smith mentioned that Kathryn had reached out to him hoping to reconnect, which sounded incredibly fishy to Landon Clements, who has long not been on good terms with the Southern Charm mom. Landon said she thought Kathryn was trying to manipulate Whitney. "She is literally trying to social climb her way back in through Whitney," she said during the episode. "I mean, it's so ridiculous."
Kathryn responded to Landon's claim on Twitter after the episode. "Social climbing? Girl you are messy," she tweeted. "The only thing I'm trying to climb are my own mountains..maybe you should focus on climbing yours."
Cameran Eubanks wasn't totally on board with Kathryn reaching out to Whitney before she settled things with Thomas Ravenel, and the fact that she wants to do so makes it seem like she has ulterior motives. But Kathryn did have some Charmers on her side. Both Craig Conover and Shep Rose defended Kathryn and said that they should all learn to forgive and forget their past drama.
Kathryn also tweeted her gratitude for Craig's support and wished that others would be less critical. "I wish there were less judgmental people in the world," Kathryn tweeted. "Thank you @C_Conover -- you've always been an exceptional friend with a big heart."
Kathryn will finally come face-to-face with Whitney and Cameran in next Monday night's Southern Charm at 9/8c, and trust us, you're not going to want to miss it. Prepare yourself, below.
