Kathryn C. Dennis Reveals Where She Is Currently Living: "It's My Safe Haven"

When Kathryn C. Dennis returned to Charleston following a stint in treatment in California, the Southern Charm mom headed back to her childhood home. It's there, with her parents, that the mother of two is currently living, she recently confirmed to The Daily Dish.

"Well I'm back home in Moncks Corner. I'm living with my mother, my father. For personal reasons, but it's been wonderful," she said. "It's my safe haven. It's private. It's out in the woods, in the country. I enjoy it."

It's there that Kathryn has found some serenity. "I spend a lot of time in my little garden. I have like a mini garden growing. And doing yoga of course. And otherwise, I just kind of read a lot," she said. "I almost miss being in school. I love learning. I love listening to like audiobooks in my car, just to get new information."

Now that Kathryn is home and sober, she's focused on herself. "It's kind of embarrassing, but yeah just dabbling kind of in personal growth and outlets for that too," she said. "Painting and I'm trying to play piano again. Yeah reconnecting with myself prior to everything that's happened. Because I really lost that person throughout all of this."

Kathryn is also considering a return to school. "I'd love to go back to school, but it wouldn't be to finish the degree I was originally pursuing. That was politics. So I'm retiring that degree," she said. "And if I went back I'd do something in maybe psychology because I learned a lot about that recently."
