Yes, Feuding with His Family Made Kanye West Smile: Here's Why
Steve Harvey spilled the tea on the episode with the Wests versus the Kardashians ... and Jonathan Cheban.
Kanye West doesn't usually have a particularly giddy facial expression. But, if there's one thing that can make the rapper smile, it's Celebrity Family Feud. Yes, seriously! West is a huge fan of the show, and leapt at the opportunity to appear on it when given the chance back in February.
Steve Harvey shared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the episode was originally slated to pit the Kardashian family against Paris Hilton and her clan. But, when the Hiltons had to cancel, West stepped right in: "I want to play," he allegedly said. So, a Kardashian/West "feud" was quickly set into motion.
The epic showdown featured West, his three cousins, and his wife Kim Kardashian on one side. The opposing team comprised an unprecedented six members, including Kris Jenner, her mother MJ, and Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban.
Of Cheban, Harvey spilled: "He was a lot." (Previous reports have hinted that the self-named "Foodgōd" wasn't on his best behavior during the taping.) But Harvey shared that West was nothing but a delight to work with.
