Todd Tucker Turned 45 Michael Jordan-Style, Thanks to Kandi Burruss
The Real Housewives of Atlanta hubby celebrated the milestone in a pretty major way.
When it came time to wish Todd Tucker a "happy 45th birthday," his wife Kandi Burruss pulled out all the stops with a Michael Jordan-themed bash that would fulfill any basketball fan's dream over the weekend. "This party felt like a high school dance. [Todd] turned 45 this year. He calls it his 'Jordan year' since Michael Jordan's last jersey [number] was 45. That’s how I got the theme for his #JerseysAndJordans party. I had the party in a gym, we had a drum line & drill team perform when [Todd] walked in. This party was too much fun!" The Real Housewives of Atlanta singer explained about what inspired her to throw the over-the-top bash.
Todd and Kandi both rocked Jordan jerseys to the party (and looked fab doing it since this is a couple that commits to a theme) — with Kandi putting her own fashionable spin on the look, wearing it as a skirt.
A whole bunch of the couple's pals turned up to the party, including a very pregnant Kenya Moore, who made her party look personal since "I don't wear jerseys or Jordans." Other party guests included Porsha Williams and her sister Lauren, who definitely had a good time, as well as Shamea Morton, who is also expecting.
And you can bet the birthday boy cut loose, writing on Instagram, "When it’s your Bday! Thank you lord for 45 yrs of an amazing life! Happy Birthday to me! Lol!"
