Just Like Glam-ma! See NeNe's Granddaughter in Heels
NeNe shares a sweet photo of her Bri'Asia playing dress-up in her pumps.
NeNe Leakes was never going to be a traditional grandmother.
"I'm way too young and too fabulous to be a grandma," the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Essence magazine in 2012, just after the birth of her first grandchild Bri'Asia. "I have a glam-baby. Let's be correct, now... I'm a glam-mom."
Two years later, Bri'Asia isn't just walking—she's walking in heels! On Wednesday, NeNe shared a photo of Bri'Asia strutting around in a pair of her Glam-ma's tan pumps. "Nothing is better than me coming home and having my little helper help me unpack my suit case and try on my shoes," Nene captioned the Instagram pic.
NeNe shared her plans for doing girly things with Bri'Asia when she was just a newborn. "I can't wait until she gets a little bit bigger, I have already introduced her to the Neiman Marcus kid's department. She's ready to go shopping at any time," she said in 2012. "I never had a girl and I'm excited about her."
And so far it looks like NeNe's having a ball spoiling her little princess. Last fall she shared a video of a dolled-up Bri'Asia pushing a toy shopping cart and singing. NeNe wrote, "I'm shopping & talkin thru Glam-Ma['s] house these days!"
