Julia Louis-Dreyfus Is "NOT F---ing Around" When It Comes to Cancer
The Veep star is letting fans in on her treatment.
Less than a month after announcing she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is getting treatment for it — and fearlessly letting fans in on the process on social media. The Veep star posted a photo of herself after her second chemo treatment to her Instagram account, and she had a very clear message.
"Chemo #2: finito. We are NOT f---ing around here. 'I’ve got the eye of the tiger. The Fighter dancing through the fire cuz I am a champion and your’re going to hear me ROAR.' Thanks to @mrtonyhale & @timothycsimons & @katyperry for their hilarious and loving inspiration," she shared with her fans.
The Emmy winner first revealed her diagnosis in late September in a heartfelt Instagram message in which she shared, "1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today I'm the one." She revealed the diagnosis the day after she won an Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for Veep on September 17.
