Bethenny’s Advice for Jules’ Divorce

Many Real Housewives of New York City fans were shocked when they heard the news that cast member Jules Wainstein is divorcing her husband of eight years, Michael, last week. But after spending a season of RHONY getting to know the couple, did Bethenny Frankel have any idea that their split was coming? "I was told before they came on the show that it was happening," the Skinnygirl mogul revealed on Wednesday night's Watch What Happens Live.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Andy Cohen then asked Bethenny if she saw any signs of trouble in paradise when she was with the couple. "I think so. I mean, yes. Yes, I did," she said. "They came over to my house a couple of times and I kind of talked to them a little bit, but it wasn't on the show."

Divorce is something that Bethenny also has a lot of experience with as she has been in the process of divorcing her estranged husband Jason Hoppy for the past three-and-a-half years. Her advice for Jules during this difficult time is to be done with the divorce as quickly as possible. "I texted her and said to get out. Not meaning with Michael. I like Michael. I meant, like, just get it over with if you possibly can because the minutia doesn’t matter, but it’s really not my business," Bethenny told a WWHL caller about the wisdom she imparted on Jules when she heard about the divorce. "It was just sort of a text just to acknowledge I knew it was going on.”

As for Bethenny's own divorce, is the end almost in sight? "I think so. I hope so," she told Andy.

Bethenny will continue to deal with some major life drama in next Wednesday night's episode of RHONY airing at 9/8c. Catch a sneak peek, below.
