Jonathan Bennett (AKA Aaron Samuels) Had an Awkward Last Encounter With Lindsay Lohan
The Mean Girls actor spilled the tea on his most recent run-in with his former castmate.
Yesterday was October 3. Or, as Lindsay Lohan's Mean Girls character famously said: "It's October 3rd." (Maybe you had to be there.) In honor of everyone's favorite unofficial holiday — that'd be Mean Girls Day — Andy Cohen invited one of the film's stars to bartend on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last night.
Did you recognize that cutie behind the bar in the clip above? It's none other than Jonathan Bennett, who played Lindsay's love interest Aaron Samuels in the film that gave us: "On Wednesdays, we wear pink." If you've been facing serious Aaron Samuels withdrawal — and, honestly, who hasn't been? — you can catch Bennett these days in Food Network's Halloween Wars. (Quick Q: will anyone on the show dress as a mouse?)
Though Bennett has moved on from Mean Girls, one WWHL caller was eager to chat with him about the old days. The caller asked the actor when he'd last spoken with Lohan, and Bennett shared a bit of an awkward tale. As it turns out, the encounter happened via FaceTime — at an incredibly inopportune time. Watch the clip above to find out why it's best to avoid sitting next to Lindsay's friends at hot Broadway shows.
