The Jersey Shore Cast Is Reuniting, But Where Have They Been Lately?
The cast will soon appear on a new reality show called Reunion Road Trip.
It's been five years since Jersey Shore left us down and out with nowhere to GTL, but now the original crew is getting back together for the pilot season of the new E! series Reunion Road Trip. Before that gets going, it's time to catch up with what the infamous pals have been up to recently:
Mike Sorrentino AKA The Situation
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino
Mike earned his nickname "The Situation" on account of his sculpted abs, an attribute he was only too happy to display shirtless inside the Shore house and on his various womanizing excursions. Today, there are some potential clouds in The Situation's current forecast; he has pleaded not guilty to criminal charges including tax evasion, conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government, and falsifying tax returns concerning more than $8 million in income. His court date will not likely come until 2018.
In the meantime, Mike (who recently appeared on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition) is trying to appreciate life as it comes. He wants to propose to his girlfriend Lauren Pesce and start a family.
“I mean, Snooki has two kids, Jenni has two kids, and I believe Pauly has one as well. So, I kind of want to throw my hat in the ring here 'cause they’d have some really cool aunts and uncles,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
One thing not to worry about: Fitness videos on Instagram show that Mike still has "a situation," meaning abs for days.Nicole Polizzi, AKA Snooki
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi
Snooki bounded into the house as a self-proclaimed "Guidette" and "meatball" and got the party started immediately, which included being arrested for public intoxication on the beach. Who, then, could have predicted that Snooki would become the most prolific author of the bunch, with multiple memoirs and novels to her credit? The mother of two (to Lorenzo, 4, and Giovanna, 2) appeared on two seasons of the Jersey Shore spinoff Snooki & JWoww with partner-in-crime Jenni Farley and has more recently taken on home renovation with her husband on the series Nicole & Jionni's Shore Flip. She got bitten by the fitness bug after the original series ended, and has gotten her family into exercising with her every Saturday.
The multimedia mogul most recently launched It's Happening With Snooki & Joey podcast in July 2017, with The Situation as the first guest.
Jenni Farley AKA JWoww
Jenni "JWoww" Farley
With exaggerated bombshell curves, JWoww got everyone's attention with her provocative series tagline: "I am like a praying mantis; after I have sex with a guy I will rip their heads off." But like Snooki, JWoww is now a mom to two children (Meilani, 3, and Greyson, 1) with husband Roger Mathews, her on-again, off-again boyfriend on Jersey Shore. In 2015, she executive produced and appeared in a film called The Mint and won Season 7 of Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Home Edition. She and Meilani have also been making adorable cooking videos for Hello Fresh.
Jenni and Roger is also a current YouTube series for Awestruck that shows off their comedic couple timing.
Paul DelVecchio AKA DJ Pauly D
Paul DelVecchio, AKA "DJ Pauly D"
Known on the show for his carefully sculpted hair and for spinning club music, Pauly D is still beating up the beat as a DJ who plays regularly in Las Vegas and around the country; he's got some summer dates where you can catch him in action.
He appeared on Season 1 of Famously Single last year and gained a new girlfriend, fellow MTV reality star Aubrey O'Day (who wants a ring, like, yesterday). The couple are currently co-hosting Famously Single Season 2 After Hours for E! on YouTube.
Vinny Guadagnino
Vinny Guadagnino
Vinny was the baby-faced mama's boy on the show, and not much has changed. Vinny has continued to flirt with the camera over the years, first with a 2013 MTV talk show called The Show with Vinny and most recently on the Cooking Channel with the culinary travel series Vinny & Ma Eat America.
Vinny and Ma make a great on-air cooking team too, don't you think?
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
Ronnie quickly established himself as the genial but tough muscle in the group, going after the man who dared to punch Snooki in the face at a bar. He also fell hard for his castmate Samantha "Sammi Sweetheart" Giancola, with many seasons devoted to their ups and downs as an on-again, off-again couple. Ronnie took Pauly D's lead and joined the Season 2 cast of Famously Single, where he began a brief relationship with Khloe Kardashian pal Malika Haqq and rocked a mini man ponytail. The season is still airing, but he let everyone know earlier this year that he and Malika have broken up and he's living the single life in Los Angeles.

Sammi is filming Reunion Road Trip with her former love Ronnie, who she's wished nothing but the best for following their 2014 split. Her turmoil with Ronnie was a recurring storyline on the series. Luckily, she doesn't seem to be hurting in the man department at the moment.
One of the most reality show shy cast members following the end of the series, she now runs an online boutique called Sweetheart Styles.
Deena Cortese
Deena Cortese
Snooki's fellow "meatball" Deena, who came into the house following the Season 2 departure of Angelina Pivarnick (who is now an EMT in New York City), is a blushing bride-to-be; she got engaged to longtime love Christopher Buckner in November 2016. They appeared on VH1's Couples Therapy in 2013. Will she do her pre-twerk dance called the "Jersey Turnpike" at the wedding?
Her wedding date isn't public yet, but she and her intended are shopping for cakes at the moment.
Outside of wedding planning and filming, Deena can usually be found training puppies at The Green Leaf Pet Resort puppy trainer in Millstone, NJ.
In a year full of epic revivals and reunions, this Road Trip should still be especially memorable.
