Jennifer Lawrence Just Slayed Every Actress in the Game
The star was just named the highest paid actress in the world.
A big Mazel goes out to Jennifer Lawrence who was just named the world's highest-paid actress by Forbes magazine. It marks the second year in a row she topped the list, raking in $46 million thanks to her work in the Hunger Games franchise, as well as her upcoming release Passengers, according to Reuters.
Coming in second place was Melissa McCarthy who took in $10 million for her earnings for the much-buzzed-about Ghostbusters reboot. Captain America: Civil War star Scarlett Johansson landed at No. 3 with $25 million. Jennifer Aniston, Fan Bingbing, Charlize Theron, Amy Adams, Julia Roberts, Mila Kunis and Deepika Padukone round out the top 10. Together the top 10 highest-paid actresses make a total of $205 million.
But that's chump change for one mega-watt pop star. To put it into perspective, Taylor Swift, who was named the top-earning celebrity of 2016 earlier this year, earned a whopping $170 million. (We wonder what Kanye thinks of that...)
Oh, and, you go, girls!
