Jax Taylor and James Kennedy May Have Finally Settled Their Beef
Could it be that the #PumpRules rivals are on better terms?
No, you are not seeing things. Yes, that really is Jax Taylor hanging out with his Vanderpump Rules rival, James Kennedy. The DJ posted a photo of himself hanging with the SUR bartender on Instagram, and didn't offer much insight into what led to the two of them to hang out. He did, however, have this to say: "Here to f*** s*** up mate."
The duo are hanging out at Big Bear Lake Village together. And, Brittany Cartwright was also spotted in town with the boys.
As any Vanderpump Rules fan knows, the longstanding feud between Jax and James is well documented. Back in February, James explained to The Daily Dish why he thinks that the duo don't get along. "Basically me and Tom [Sandoval] get along great. Obviously Jax doesn't like that because Tom's kind of, as age goes, in between me and Jax," James explained. "Jax is the oldest, then Tom, then me — and Tom can kind of be friends with both of us in that sense. But it doesn't really make sense for me to be friends with Jax because he's just so much older than me that he gets insecure and weird when we're out and he's just like, 'Why am I drinking with', at the time, 'a 22-year-old kid?' So he never really liked me from the get-go and then especially when I just start poking his buttons or taking away some of the limelight from him from SUR. He's not a guy that likes that — especially from a younger, skinnier, whatever version of what people say to be himself. It's kind of ridiculous, so I feel like he's threatened sometimes."
When we caught up with Jax in April, he admitted that it seemed like things had gotten a little better with James at the Season 5 reunion. "It was an interesting reunion, a lot of interesting things happened. A lot of special guests came on. We had people coming, we had people going," he said. "My placement was interesting. I was right next to James. Like literally right next to James. When I walked in 8 o'clock in the morning, I was pissed. I was livid, like, 'Why did you guys do this?' But you're gonna see what happens. I was even shocked."
