Is Andy Cohen Ready to Officially Join LIVE?
The #WWHL host weighs in on all that speculation.
With Andy Cohen preparing for his guest hosting gig on LIVE later this week, fans of both the talk show and the Watch What Happens Live host are wondering if he's considering officially joining his BFF Kelly Ripa on the AM chat fest. But Andy is once again reiterating that he is not replacing former co-host Michael Strahan on LIVE in a full-time capacity any time soon.
"No, you know that I have a job. I have 10 jobs," Andy told his assistant Daryn Carp in the latest edition of Ask Andy. "I would want Anderson [Cooper]. If he could figure out how to do it, yeah [he would do it]."
Anderson has long been Andy's pick as Michael's official replacement. Though it should be noted that much like Andy, he's also a very busy guy over at CNN. The newsman did weigh in on if he would join the show when he appeared on WWHL late last month. "Listen, I love Kelly and I think that show is, Kelly is the heart and soul of that show and it’s going to go on and continue to be great and I wish Michael the best in his new endeavor," Anderson said at the time, without actually saying if he'd take the job if it was ever offered to him. "Look, I’m very happy at CNN. Um, you know, it would be a dream to work with Kelly but nobody’s offering anything."
Catch up on all things Andy as he dishes on his love of Snapchat, his deodorant of choice, and the Susan Sarandon-Debra Messing Twitter feud, in the newest Ask Andy episode above.
