Ian Ziering on Reza Farahan: 'He's a Bit of a Badass'
The actor opens up about his experience working with the Shahs of Sunset star in Sharknado 3.
For those of you who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (read: everyone), the wait is almost over. The third installment of the Sharknado series will be airing Wednesday, July 22 at 9/8c on the Syfy channel. And as if an action packed science fiction movie revolving around flying sharks isn’t enticing enough to get you to watch, some appearances by Bravolebrities just might seal the deal.
Not only does Kim Richards make her Sharknado debut, but the Shahs of Sunset’s own Reza Farahan plays a pretty badass security guard in the thriller—and got the stamp of approval from co-star Ian Ziering.
We caught up with Ian in May, who exclusively revealed to the Daily Dish that Reza’s got some acting chops.
"He's a bit of a badass," he said. "I've got to tell you. Reza plays a White House security guard and my character has to get into the White House and to warn the president what's happening and Reza is the first line of defense ... for the White House when anyone tries to get through. Well, he's got to stop me,” he says. “He did a great job.”
