How Is Joe Giudice Preparing His Daughters for His Prison Sentence?
The #RHONJ dad opens up about saying goodbye to his four daughters.
With Joe Giudice expected to start his 41-month prison sentence on Wednesday, he is preparing to say goodbye to his wife, Teresa Giudice, as well as their four daughters, Gia, 15, Gabriella, 12, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6. And it's a process that has been especially difficult for The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad. "I had a little meltdown the other night with my daughter Gabriella talking to her, but we will be all right we will get through it," he told People. He added that explaining to his younger daughters why he has to go away for so long has also been hard.
"My kids are very smart, and they know what he deal is," he said. "The younger ones don't understand why you have to go, what you did – I don't think either one of them know exactly why you are going in, but you we just told them that we did some things wrong and we gotta go in."
For now, Joe has just been getting in some quality time with his family before Wednesday. The family gathered on Monday night to not only say goodbye to Joe but also celebrate his sister-in-law Melissa Gorga's birthday. According to E! News, the party, held at Blu Alehouse in Riverdale, N.J., included a mechanical bull, a buffet, and music. In addition to the get-together, Teresa and Milania have flooded Instagram with photos of Joe enjoying some family time with his kids before his sentence begins.
