Heather Thomson: Diddy Pushed Me to My Limits

The #RHONY star shares how the rap mogul made her a better businesswoman.

Long before she set out to create her own company, Yummie brand shapewear, Heather Thomson worked for one of the most successful celebrity entrepreneurs of our time, P. Diddy, on his Sean John fashion line. In a new video interview, the Real Housewives of New York City star reveals the valuable lessons she learned from the mogul.

"I learned from the best!" Heather tells People magazine of her experience working with superstars Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Diddy on their clothing lines. But it was the Bad Boy Records founder that had the biggest impact on her life and career. "Puff was definitely the toughest boss," said Heather, proving she's O.G. by referring to Diddy's original moniker—Puff Daddy. "But," she continues, "he showed me what I was made of."

And what does her former boss think of where the Yummie CEO is now? "Puff looks at me today and he literally bubbles with pride from my success," says Heather.

During a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, Diddy shared his admiration for his Sean John founding design director, "Her personality ... She's so one of a kind," he told Andy.

Clearly he saw something in Heather all those years ago. "If it weren't for Puffy pushing me to my limits, I guess I wouldn't know where they were," says Heather. "I don't really have any limits. Puffy showed me that there are no barriers."
