Have Mike Shouhed and Jessica Parido Really Split for Good?
The couple's #Shahs pal Reza Farahan weighs in on the future of the relationship.
Mike Shouhed has spent much of this season of Shahs of Sunset trying to get his relationship with Jessica Parido back on track to, unfortunately, no avail. Though the couple announced plans to divorce last November, and they have both been dating since their split, could this really be the end of Mike and Jessica's marriage?
Reza Farahan let us in on where his Shahs castmate's head may be at during his appearance on the Watch What Happens Live After Show Sunday night. "I don't want to share information that he hasn't shared with you yet, but I know that he was in the divorce process. And I think, like, it's over," he told Andy Cohen (clip above). "I believe that it's done."
Now that Mike may soon be single again, perhaps he should give The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Dolores Catania a call since she is also thinking about getting back into the dating game some 15 years after she got divorced, as per Andy's suggestion earlier in the After Show. However, Reza shared that Mike needs some time before he pursues another relationship. "He's not in that space right now," he said.
When The Daily Dish caught up with Mike in June, he didn't know whether he and Jessica would ever reconcile, but he said he is at peace with whatever the future holds. "If me and Jessica decide not to work it out and we decide to move and [go] separate ways, I'm finally OK with myself," he told The Daily Dish. "I've forgiven myself with what I've done where I feel like I deserve to be loved again and be in a relationship because my ultimate goal with Jessica was to be married and stay married and have a family. If it doesn't happen with Jessica, I hope that one day I find [someone] who will love me and want to have a family with me."
As this season of Shahs came to a close on Sunday night, Mike reflected on his difficult year on Instagram. "It's been so f***ing hard letting y'all into our lives. I can honestly say that although there were many times I absolutely hated filming this year & being so transparent, now that the season's coming to a close and sooooo many people have reached out to me via DM, email, text, email and in person (at the gym while I'm trying to train) telling me that YOU have gone through the same thing in life & how my situation has helped you through it, makes it all worth it!!!" Mike wrote in a post published Sunday. "She taught me so much! I have grown 10 years worth of wisdom in the last 12 months."
