Has MJ Javid Set a Wedding Date?

This season of Shahs of Sunset kicked off with a lot of changes in Mercedes "MJ" Javid's life. We learned that she's in a serious relationship with boyfriend Tommy Feight, the two moved in together, and they're even talking about starting a family. Since then, MJ and Tommy have gotten engaged. 

Though it may seem like things are moving quickly for the couple, the Shahs bride-to-be is actually not in any rush to walk down the aisle. MJ told a caller during Sunday night's episode of Watch What Happens Live that she and Tommy haven't set a wedding date yet, and there's a good reason for that. 

"I get irritated when people ask about the wedding date because I think being engaged is a thing that you should be for a long time. Just like when you start dating someone and you're just dating and you don't have a plan, that should be a thing, dating," she said on WWHL (clip above). "We moved in together and that was a whole thing, and it changed everything. We actually barely or maybe kind of covered that a little bit."

While MJ and Tommy are still getting to know each other during their engaged life, MJ's mother Vida Javid is also still becoming acquainted with Tommy, as we've seen this season of Shahs, and she didn't exactly have a glowing review for her future son-in-law on the show. Could that be because Tommy isn't Persian? "I don't want a Persian husband for Mercedes at all," Vida responded to a caller wondering if she wants MJ to marry a Persian man during the WWHL After Show (clip below). "We are in America and majority is American, and I want her to marry [an] American guy."

Well, that's good news for Tommy, who isn't Persian. He was also full of compliments for his soon-to-be mother-in-law while standing in as the WWHL bartender. How could Vida not want MJ to marry him?
