Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Reveals Her Current Relationship Status with Shalom
The Shahs of Sunset pal opens up about the ups and downs of her relationship.
This season's Shahs of Sunset reunion was jam-packed with revelations, especially when it came to Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi's love life. When we last left GG, she had gotten engaged to Shalom Yeroushalmi, but it was soon revealed that the couple had gotten married shortly thereafter and then split two months after that.
But GG shocked us all again when she confirmed during Sunday night's Part 2 of the Shahs reunion that she and Shalom are still married and are now trying to work on their relationship. "I've been talking to Shalom. We've gone out on a couple of dates," she shared. "We're gonna try to get to know each other because we didn't do that. We never got a chance to do that at all, and he's a good guy."
GG and Shalom, who also spoke about the breakup and the future of the couple at this season's reunion, said that they still love one another (clip above). GG has even put her stunning engagement ring back on, and she said Shalom never stopped wearing his wedding ring.
It seems as though GG and Shalom are still going strong more than a month after the reunion filmed. GG stood by her man in an Instagram post where she defended her relationship posted on Sunday. "If I had a normal life, I wouldn't know what to do with it. Some people offer you shelter from the storm. While this guy will go out and fight the storm for me," GG wrote on Instagram. "And I'm sorry to say, but it doesn't have to make sense to anyone but us! #StillMarried."
GG previously asked fans for empathy after the episode in which she and Shalom got engaged aired earlier this season of Shahs. "No relationship is easy and not all of them make sense. But to us, this relationship, it's OURS and we can do as we choose. Enjoy watching the crazy rollercoaster tonight... the fight and the proposal... and just keep in mind, your relationship probably ain't perfect either, so keep the sh*t talking to a minimal."
Since the reunion, GG has posted a few romantic photos of herself and Shalom.
GG told The Daily Dish in September that it was extremely difficult to relive the ups and downs of her relationship with Shalom this season of Shahs. "Yeah, it's very disturbing to watch the relationship play out on the show because I really only started dating him like right before we started filming the season. So me being the person that I am, I don't hide things from the camera," she shared. "So watching it back now, it's really f***ing hard. I know some scenes are even coming up later this season, it's gonna be really, really, really difficult for me to watch."
