Fashion Police Is Coming to an End — and It's Going Out with a Bang
The stylish talk show will pay tribute to the late Joan Rivers in its series finale special.
Fashion Police is bidding a fond and fashionable farewell. The stylish talk show will be coming to a close with a special series finale episode next month, Variety reports.
Melissa Rivers will host the special, alongside current panelists Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, NeNe Leakes, and Margaret Cho. The panelists will look back on memorable moments from Joan Rivers' run on the show, as well as unaired clips of the late comedian and her co-hosts paying tribute to '80s fashion.
Fashion Police has been bringing its signature snark and sassiness about all things celebrity and style for the past two decades. The series premiered on E! in 1995 with the dynamic mother-daughter duo of Joan and Melissa Rivers at the helm. Fashion Police continued after Rivers' death in 2014 with frequent specials with Melissa Rivers taking over as host. The most recent special aired in September and covered the Primetime Emmy Awards.
“I am so proud to have been a part of this show and am so proud that it’s part of my mother’s legacy,” Melissa Rivers told Variety. “It really changed, along with the red carpets, awards-show programming and fashion.”
