Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Claims His "Sense of Humor" Helped Him Win People's Sexiest Man Alive
We're sure his muscles didn't hurt either.
Can you smell what The Rock is cooking? Well, apparently Dwayne Johnson been cooking up the title of PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive all these years. On Tuesday, it was confirmed that the pro wrestler-turned-actor won the honor for 2016.
“I said, ‘That’s awesome.’ And then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is,” he shared about the title. “And then I thought, ‘Wow, we’ve pretty much reached the pinnacle.’ I’m not quite too sure where we go from here. I’ve done it all, this is it.”
The sexy dude also shared why he thinks his fans find him so easy-on-the-eyes. “Ah, a sense of humor. And I think probably just not trying to be sexy and just being cool and confident in your movies," he said. "I think with a lot of my fans, I’ve gotten to a very, very cool place where there’s a direct line between the man they know off-screen and the man they see on-screen.”
By the way, if you're wondering how he stays so handsome, he shared: “It starts with the skin. We’ve only got one face. You’ve got to take care of it. So I exfoliate.”
For those keeping record, soccer stud David Beckham won the honor last year.
But, 2016 is all about Dwayne and his muscles.
