Dorinda Medley Loves Lady Gaga and 'American Horror Story' Even More Than You Do

The countdown to American Horror Story: Hotel is on. The new season will include many, many A-listers, including Bravo superfan Lady Gaga, who will play a character dubbed The Countess. (Interesting...) And while we're waiting to find out if it's truly an homage to Luann de Lesseps, there is one Real Housewives of New York lady who cannot wait for October 7: Dorinda Medley.

"I talked to Lady Gaga about that. I said to her, 'I have to come to the premiere party.' I am obsessed with American Horror [Story], the whole thing, and she's going to be great on it," Dorinda told The Daily Dish Thursday (September 9), one day before a trailer for the series debuted (below). "She's so talented and spooky and edgy and everything I love. She's like Marilyn Monroe meets Frankenstein and I love that."

Of course, by now, Dorinda and Gaga are old friends after they chilled backstage at Gaga's concert in Atlantic City back in July. And Dorinda is now dishing on what went down at that epic hangout sesh. "I think that she looked at me more like a mother figure, to tell you the truth," she said. "I got along with her mother really well. Remember, she went to my daughter's school. I'm 50, she's 29. It was a little bit like 'Nice to see you Stefani.' I know! It's weird — the mother and I kind of look like each other. [The meeting] was great. It was easy. She's very easy. She's very down-to-earth and she was so nice. She took to me. She really liked me, which was so bizarre." Um, not really!
