Does Andy Cohen Think Brooks Ayers *Really* Has Cancer?
Following the #RHOC reunion, the #WWHL host addresses the hot topic.
After Vicki Gunvalson laid the cards out on the the table during Part 3 of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Andy Cohen is now addressing what has been one of the most controversial topics of Season 10: Does Brooks Ayers have cancer? During the reunion, viewers learned that after confronting her ex about his cancer diagnosis months ago, Vicki admitted it was the turning point for her after stoutly defending him. "My gut [tells me] he doesn't have it," Vicki shared during the final installment on Sunday (Nov. 1). Now that the entire reunion has aired, Andy is sharing his take on Brooks' health.
"I don't know," Andy said in the clip above. "Vicki said she got duped at the end of Part 3, or in Part 3, which I thought was interesting. And I thought it seemed like Vicki had doubts in her mind, but then she called her friends who said they have taken her to, they have taken Brooks to chemo. I thought it was a little bit of a smoking gun that Brooks had tried to use his cancer five years ago, or more, to Vicki to try to get her back. And he said, 'Look I have cancer. I'm really sick. You need to come to me right now.' So I thought that was dubious."
Despite his doubts, Andy reiterated what many have said all season: the truth is in his medical records. "To me, the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming, but there is also no evidence that he does have cancer. And God knows that this is this man's own private thing," he said. "If I was him and everyone was hounding me, I might say, 'Here's my record, f*** all of you.' That would be a way to end it."
