Teresa Giudice Sends Prayers to Dina Manzo Following Home Invasion
The #RHONJ mom shared a heartwarming tweet following the scary incident involving her longtime friend.
Following a home robbery over the weekend, Dina Manzo is getting some virtual support from her longtime friend Teresa Guidice. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom reacted to the news of Dina's frightening home invasion on Wednesday, days after the incident took place at a townhouse she was staying in with her boyfriend, David Cantin, in Holmdel, NJ over the weekend.
"Please say a prayer tonight for my sister @dinamanzo," the Garden State mom wrote.
The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. on Saturday after the couple attended a First Communion party for Audriana Giudice. When they returned home, they found two assailants inside. According to the prosecutor’s office, via PEOPLE, they were rushed by the duo and David was hit several times with a baseball bat while Dina was punched "multiple times" in the face. They were then tied up with the suspects taking cash and jewelry. The couple was taken to the hospital with David suffering from a broken nose and other injuries to his face. Dina was treated for facial injuries.
“Dina and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery,” their attorney, Andrew B. Brettler, said in a statement to PEOPLE. “No one should ever have to go through what they did. They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone’s concern and well-wishes.”
