What's It *Really* Like to Work for Mauricio Umansky?

We've gotten to know Mauricio Umansky as the loving and supportive (and hunky!) husband to Kyle Richards on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But we've also seen Mauricio get down to business as he strives for success in the cutthroat world of real estate on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, too. 

Mauricio is the founder and CEO of the luxury real estate firm The Agency, where MDLLA's David Parnes and James Harris serve as agents. The RHOBH husband may technically be David and James' boss, but he certainly doesn't act like it. "We look up to him, he's a mentor, but he's a friend. We hang out with him," James told The Daily Dish. "We co-list a ton of deals with him, and he co-lists a ton of deals with us. And you know what, I think we've really learned from him, and we work well together, and he is so competitive the same way that we are, but it's a healthy competitiveness. It's fun."

In fact, David said Mauricio is looking out for everyone at The Agency. "There's no ego," David said. "He has our best interests at heart. We've kind of gone to the next level with Mauricio as well, so we look at ourselves as a team, not so much as Mauricio being a boss because he doesn't act like that. He acts like a friend and a mentor."

David and James have also had the pleasure of hanging out with Mauricio and Kyle, who David said is "really lovely as well." The MDLLA agents said they admire the relationship of Mauricio and Kyle, who will celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary in January. "They're a great couple. And they're really happy," David gushed. "It's just really, really nice to see such a beautiful family and such a close marriage. I think it's amazing."
