Erika Jayne Joins the Cast of Dancing with the Stars — and She Plans to Bring the Sass
The #RHOBH songstress is putting on her boogie shoes.
It's official. The Dancing with the Stars stage is about to get a whole lot fiercer. Erika Jayne will be a part of the upcoming Season 24 cast of DWTS, following reports that she would appear on ABC's dancing competition.
The lineup of celebrity contestants and their professional partners was announced live on Good Morning America on Wednesday morning. Erika looked gorgeous as she busted a little sultry move next to her partner, Gleb Savchenko.
As Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts, and DWTS host Tom Bergeron spoke to the new cast and their partners on GMA, Erika said that she would be facing the competition "head on." "We're gonna give it all we got," she said.
Erika couldn't deny that all of those sexy dance moves we've seen her do in her music videos might give her a leg up in the competition. "It gives me a little extra sass for sure," she admitted. "I'm not shy."
Erika is the latest in a long line of Real Housewives competing on DWTS. Her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmates Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump previously appeared on the show, as well as The Real Housewives of Atlanta's NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and Kim Fields.
Kyle Richards also sent a special message to Erika on GMA. "You're going to do amazing. I can't wait to tune in each week and watch you kill it," she gushed. "Good luck!"
Andy Cohen also congratulated Erika on her new gig.
Erika already gave us a sneak peek of her moves when she demonstrated how to do the Hair Dryer during a little game with the DWTS cast on GMA. If she looks that good doing a wedding dance, we can only imagine how fabulous she'll be while performing a full-blown routine.
Erika is going to look red-hot on that DWTS dancefloor.
The Season 24 cast includes celebs from all walks of entertainment and sports, from Olympic stars like Simone Biles and Nancy Kerrigan to Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei to the current Bachelor Nick Viall. Charo, Mr. T, and Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan also round out the cast with some lovable nostalgia.
Biles' Olympic teammate Laurie Hernandez took home the Mirrorball Trophy last season. We'll have to wait and see if Erika can bring it home this time around.
