Will Cynthia Bailey’s Daughter Noelle Robinson Become a Model Like Her Mom?
The #RHOA model has some sobering advice for the teen.
In the six seasons that Cynthia Bailey has been a part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast, her daughter Noelle Robinson has grown up before our very eyes, something the model knows all too well. “Noelle is growing up," Cynthia told The Daily Dish in the clip, above. "She is 16 years old now. She has her driver’s license. She drives. She doesn’t drive by herself far distances yet because I’m just not ready for that, but she does drive. She’s going to 12th grade, getting ready to start looking at colleges and all that stuff."
When Noelle gets old enough to start her career, could modeling be in the picture, as her mom did before her? "In terms of modeling with Noelle, she’s never really showed an interest before. She mostly gravitated toward the whole acting and singing thing. That’s what her dad [Leon Robinson] does," Cynthia said. "However, lately, she actually has been talking to me about doing some modeling."
But if Noelle does decide to pursue a career in modeling, she might face some challenges, according to Cynthia. "She’s not that tall. Noelle is only about five-five, so as the CEO of the Bailey Agency, it was my duty to inform her that she’s not really ideal model height," she said.
With that in mind, Cynthia said her best advice for Noelle if she tries to enter the modeling world is to "be realistic" about her features and the expectations of an industry based on aesthetics. "I have to keep it 100 with her, and I do the same thing with my students at my school. You know, don’t be delusional. Be realistic. I’ve already explained to Noelle, you are short," she told The Daily Dish. "If she wants to go that direction, she will be limited because of her height. So I will encourage her to do it but also do some other things as well.”
Still, Cynthia doesn't want Noelle to give up hope if modeling is her dream. "There’s always exceptions to the rule. There’s different types of modeling. She would have to be definitely more of a petite model, but she wants to go for it," she said. "Of course, as her mom and CEO of the Bailey Agency School of Fashion, I’m going to help her open some doors.”
Well, Noelle certainly has some great genes and a wealth of expertise about the industry from her mom. See Cynthia's modeling chops in action when she rocked the Kithe Brewster runway during New York Fashion Week in the pics, below.
