Cindy Crawford's Vogue Paris Cover with Daughter Kaia Gerber Proves Fierceness Runs in the Family

Cindy Crawford set the fashion world on fire more than 20 years ago, and now her 14-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber is about to do the same. Landing the April 2016 cover of Vogue Paris with one of the most famous supermodels of all time, who just happens to be your mom, is a pretty good start, wouldn't you say?
"What is life?!! I honestly can't breathe right now. A million thank you's to @vogueparis & @mariotestino!!" Kaia wrote about landing the cover on Instagram.
This Vogue Paris cover is the first time Cindy and Kaia have posed together for legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino. It's definitely no surprise that Cindy and her hubby Rande Gerber would have such beautiful children in Kaia and her 16-year-old brother Presley Gerber. But the fact that Kaia looks so much like her iconic mother is something that stops you in your tracks.
Vogue Paris Editor-in-Chief Emmanuelle Alt agrees. "The family resemblance is striking. There’s the same brown eyes that gaze out from underneath the same full brows, the smile could charm the stars out of the sky, the cascade of hair would have Barbie green with envy and same enviable figure from the same genetic miracle," she writes in her editorial for next month's issue. "Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber joins her on our cover this month and she’s a carbon copy of her mother at the same age, the original supermodel in the 1990s."
Not only does Kaia know how to work the camera because it's basically in her genes, but she's also not new to the modeling game. The teen has already posed for Vogue Italia, Interview Magazine, and Teen Vogue. Kaia even previously posed with her mom, dad, and older brother for a Vogue spread showing off the fabulous family's private island retreat in central Ontario, Canada featured in last year's September issue. She also recently landed a campaign for Alexander Wang's latest collection.
We predict Kaia will have a long and successful fashion career ahead of her, just like her mama.
