Charrisse Jackson Jordan on the Moment She Knew Her Marriage Was Over

Charrisse Jackson Jordan has been going through some major marital issues with husband Eddie Jordan since last season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, but it wasn't until the latest episode that she actually realized her marriage would be coming to an end. During a FaceTime call with her psychologist Dr. Jeff, Charrisse shared that she had accepted "the fact that the relationship is basically over."

Charrisse explained to The Daily Dish that even though she had known she and Eddie were in a bad place for quite some time, there was a part of her that still hoped the two would grow old together. "I went through a long time of denial. I wanted the traditional family unit. I grew up with both of my parents, he grew up with both of his parents, and I just assumed we were gonna raise our children together and we were gonna live happily ever after as old people with wheelchairs and canes, but it didn't happen like that," she said. "I just kept trying to hold onto the unit."

But then something changed within Charrisse. "And then one day, I woke up, literally, I woke up, and something hit me. The other thing I was married to were my vows. And I'm a very spiritual person — you probably don't know that either, but I am. And so I had this thing where I made a vow to God, and I didn't want to break the vow to God. And so this particular morning, I woke up, and it was like a voice in my head. It said, 'Do you think this is how God wants you to live the rest of your life?'" Charrisse said. "And so, I just had a weight lifted off of my shoulders when I said, 'No, he doesn't.' From that point, I needed to just accept things for what they were and start to live my life as Charrisse and not Mrs. Jordan."

Charrisse Sees Her Husband Eddie and Walks The Other Way

Though Charrisse revealed earlier this season of RHOP that Eddie is intending to divorce her, she told The Daily Dish that neither has filed yet. "We both have attorneys. Why we haven't filed yet, I really don't know. It's not we're thinking we're going to get back together. I think it's just that we're both lazy. That's the only reason, to be honest with you. We're kind of lazy in that department," she said. "But it's gonna happen, unfortunately, it is. I'm not excited that it's gonna happen, but it's inevitable. It's gonna happen."

Charrisse is already looking to the future. "My numerologist told me that at the end of the year, I'm gonna be very happy, the happiest I've ever been. The numerologist said it wasn't gonna be with my husband. So there you go," she said. "My Mars and Venus comes together at the end of the year, and whoever this person is, it's someone he said that I knew. It would start off with a business-type relationship, and then it would lead to something else. I'm looking around at everybody. Is it you? Is it you? I don't know who the heck it is, but I wish they'd hurry up."

The RHOP mom recently opened up to The Daily Dish about the experience of co-parenting through her marital issues, below.
