Celebrities Share Photos of Los Angeles-Area Wildfires, Along with Details of What's Happening on the Scene
More than 83,000 acres of land have already been destroyed in Southern California.
According to CNN, more than 83,000 acres have already been destroyed in a set of wildfires that are currently burning in Ventura, Los Angeles, and San Bernardino Counties. Several fires are clearly visible from the major 405 and 101 freeways. Stars who live in the area have taken to social media to share helpful information as well as express worry and, in some cases, reveal that they've had to leave their houses.
Paris Hilton tweeted that her house has been evacuated and shared a video that shows the 405 freeway before large portions were shut down due to the raging fires that are scarily visible from the road. Her aunt, Kyle Richards, added, "So much devastation in Southern California. Please say prayers. Be smart and evacuate when told. I know some are packing but opting to 'wait & see.'
Take your animals with you. These firefighters are true heroes. Beyond grateful for all that they do #belairfire #skirballfire."
Lea Michele also told The Hollywood Reporter that she had to evacuate her home this morning.
Kourtney Kardashian posted several images on her Instagram Stories: "These fires are terrifying," she wrote.

Camille Grammer showed another snapshot of the 405 before it closed.
And Chrissy Teigen, Adrienne Maloof, Kristen Doute, and Lisa Rinna were among those who tweeted what many in the area are undoubtedly thinking about right now, which is to determine what are the essentials that they would want to protect in an emergency.
Concern and hopes for the safest possible conclusion of these fires are being expressed from California and beyond, including from Jax Taylor and Andy Cohen, who are watching from New York.
