Beyoncé Just Made Instagram History for Having the Most Liked Photo Ever
And celebrities are flocking to send Queen Bey some baby love.
Whatever Selena Gomez can do, Beyoncé can do better. The pregnant-with-twins pop superstar's pregnancy reveal is now the most liked photo on Instagram and even claimed a Guinness World Record in the process, according to CNET. In less than eight hours after it was added to her timeline on Wednesday, it got 6,481,207 likes. As of press time Thursday morning, that number was up to 8,097,504 likes.
For some context, Selena's previous record-holding photo (in which she drinks a soda and smolders for the camera), got 6,315,187 likes after it hit her feed in June 2016.
It's pretty obvious how Queen Bey's photo quickly broke records. In addition to us normals liking it, the photo has also caused quite a stir with celebrities, who flocked to their own social media accounts to congratulate Bey and Jay Z on their big news. Everyone from Rihanna and Chrissy Teigen to Porsha Williams and Stassi Schroeder couldn't hold back their excitement.
The Knowles ladies, Tina Lawson and Solange (who dubbed herself a "proud auntie" in an Instagram story), also sent love to Bey.
