Bethenny Frankel Wants to "Move On" from Skin Cancer and Focus On Helping People
Two surgeries haven't gotten in the way of the #RHONY mogul's humanitarian efforts in Puerto Rico.
Bethenny Frankel hasn't let her recent skin cancer removal surgery get in the way of being an amazing humanitarian, personally chartering four private planes to bring hurricane relief supplies to Puerto Rico. But she's been through a lot lately. She underwent Mohs micrographic surgery to remove the growth on her face as well as plastic surgery to minimize the scarring, and documented both with photos to share her experience.
Despite the surgeries, Bethenny says the ordeal hasn't been on her mind that much.
"I mean, I don't know," she told The Daily Dish. "I have stitches on my face. I need to move on, but I haven't really been thinking about it. Yesterday I had a hat on because it was sunny. But I haven't really been thinking about it. I'm going to have to get back to normal life soon. I just took a bath now and I'm going to eat something."
She has been advised to check her body regularly for any other possible occurrences, but for now she's trying to put skin cancer in the rear view mirror.
"I always think I can analyze all of this later," she quipped. "With like the meaning that I'm probably missing in my life... or I have no idea. I'll call Freud. I'll call Freud this afternoon."
