Bethenny Frankel Addresses the Harvey Weinstein Scandal: “Harvey Is & Was a Beast”
The Real Housewives of New York City mogul had some pointed remarks.
In the weeks following The New York Times' explosive exposé on Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, many celebrities, from Reese Witherspoon to Kate Winslet, have spoken out about institutionalized misconduct. But, for all the brave confessions that have come forward, some statements have been flagged as insincere.
When Ben Affleck claimed shock and anger after learning of Weinstein's behavior, actress Rose McGowan accused him of feigning surprise. "You lie," she wrote on Twitter, in comments directed at Affleck.
Bethenny Frankel also took to Twitter to call out people in the industry who she believes knew of the sexual misconduct.
Bethenny followed her remark with another tweet reminding followers that Harvey's actions aren't singular in Hollywood — or in any industry.
