Below Deck Mediterranean Brings Some Major High-Seas Drama This Spring
Get ready to rock the boat when #BelowDeckMed sets sail.
For three seasons, we've followed the trials and tribulations of a group of young yachties in the Caribbean on Below Deck, from hooking up with fellow crewmembers to catering to hard-to-please charter guests to getting the boot by Captain Lee Rosbach. Now we'll be heading to the Greek islands for even more high-seas drama when Below Deck Mediterranean premieres Tuesday, May 3 at 9/8c.
Below Deck Mediterranean follows nine crewmembers as they live and work aboard a 150-foot mega yacht sailing around Santorini, Mykonos, and many of the other Greek islands. Along with this new boat and new location, Below Deck Mediterranean also brings with it a whole batch of new crewmembers.
However, there will be one familiar face in the mix: Chef Ben Robinson, who has appeared on all three seasons of Below Deck. "I would like to leave this charter season with no 'major' regrets," Ben says in the Below Deck Mediterranean supertease (clip above). As you can see, that's definitely going to be easier said than done.
Below Deck Mediterranean will also bring much of the drama we've seen on Below Deck to the next level with Ben loving and hating Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier, Stewardess Julia d'Albert Pusey doing whatever it takes to make the finicky charter guests happy, including holding one woman's hair extensions while she takes a dip in the Mediterranean Sea, and Captain Mark Howard handing a crewmember a plane ticket home. The lines drawn between crewmembers and charter guests will also be blurred like never before. Have your life jackets ready, because there's definitely going to be choppy waters ahead on Below Deck Mediterranean.
Be sure to check out Below Deck Mediterranean when it takes its maiden voyage on Tuesday, May 3 at 9/8c, and get your feet wet with the new series with its half-hour preview special on Wednesday, March 23 10/9c.
Until then, relive Season 3 of Below Deck, starting with this memorable moment from the season premiere, below.
