Does Hannah Ferrier Want to Date Ben Robinson?

Nothing tests a relationship like a charter season, and no one knows that better than Hannah Ferrier and Ben Robinson this season of Below Deck Mediterranean. One minute, the Ionian Princess' chief stew and chef are sharing an intimate meal together and the next, they're arguing about the meaning of the word "entrée" in the galley. 

So were things really as up-and-down with Ben and Hannah as they seemed? "In terms of my relationship with Ben, it was very, very hot and cold, and what you see is basically what was going on," Hannah told The Daily Dish. "I think there was flirting and then there was fights and things like that, so it's always difficult when you're trying to gauge what kind of relationship you're gonna have on the boat." 

Hannah said her skillful leadership was both a turn-on for Ben and what made the two fight "like an old married couple most of the time." "It's like he really loves strong women in the chief stew position, but then he absolutely hates it as well. I'm not someone who's gonna back down if I think that I'm right or if I think someone needs to take partial responsibility," she said. "So there's a lot more drama to come. Don't worry."

Course Chaos Below Deck

Of course, that isn't unique to Hannah since Ben has had scuffles with Chief Stews Adrienne Gang and Kate Chastain on past seasons of Below Deck. "In terms of Ben having issues with all of the chief stews that he's worked with, I think it's probably maybe 70 percent the chief stew-chef relationship and 30 percent Ben," Hannah explained. "Basically, out of any relationship on the boat, if there's gonna be an issue, it's gonna be that one. I've had probably issues with 50 percent of my chefs, and I've gotten along with 50 percent of my chefs. It's such a hard relationship because I'm front-of-house with the guests, and I feel like I know what they want or how they want things more than somebody who has zero time in front of the guests. But then the chef, a lot of the time they want to cook what they want to cook, and that's it. So, to me, you need to mold into the clientele that you're serving, and a lot of chefs don't really like to do that." 

Hopefully, you weren't 'shipping Hannah and Ben too much, either. "With Ben and I, I think on both sides it wasn't [that] we wanted to pursue a relationship and kind of be boyfriend and girlfriend and skip off into the sunset," Hannah told The Daily Dish. 

Hannah explained the reason why she was so flirty with Ben during her appearance on Tuesday night's Watch What Happens Live (clip above). "We had a connection at the start, and we were flirting and things like that, but on my side, it wasn't really going to go anywhere," she told Andy Cohen. "Like my girlfriend says, I'll flirt with a telegraph pole when I'm drunk. I'll flirt with anything." 

But you might be happy to know that Hannah and Ben are in a good place these days. "I'm friends with Ben to this day," she revealed. "I see him every time I go to Fort Lauderdale, and we have drinks and a good laugh." 

So now that we know that "Bennah" will never be a full-fledged couple, does Hannah have another special someone in her life now? "I'm hanging out with someone in France, but I'm single," she said on WWHL (clip below).

And she's perfectly happy with that. "At the moment, I'm not really looking for a partner. I'm traveling a lot, I've got a lot going on," Hannah explained. "People don't understand that I actually really, genuinely enjoy being single, and I really enjoy being on my own and having a good time. I have beautiful friends all over the world."
