Asa Soltan Rahmati Welcomes Her First Child
The #Shahs kaftan designer and her longtime love Jermaine Jackson Jr. are the proud parents of a baby boy.
There's a new shah ready to rule over Sunset! Asa Soltan Rahmati is officially a mom. She welcome her son, Soltan Jackson, on January 20, her rep has confirmed to Us Weekly, adding that "both he and mom are healthy." This is her first child with longtime love, Jermaine Jackson Jr. "Our lives have completely changed for the better," Asa told Us. "Jermaine and I brought our precious love home last night. Our families are completely overjoyed."
Asa also shared the good news with her Instagram followers on Monday. "Lovers. We gave birth to our precious son on January 20th 2017. His name is Soltan Jackson and we are completely in Love with him. Mami, Baby, and Daddy are all doing well," she captioned a lovely photo of herself and her partner. "Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your well wishes and prayers. We are literally in heaven with our precious Soltan."
The Shahs of Sunset mom announced her pregnancy back in October — and it wasn't just her fans that she kept the pregnancy a secret from. Reza Farahan revealed to us shortly after the baby news broke that Asa had kept things on the down low from her tight-knit crew as well. "What I was shocked by was the bitch was pregnant for five months and she kept it from me. And it was a total jaw-on-the floor shocking surprise to me [that she could do that]. I have no idea," he joked. "I know that in the first trimester you kind of don't want to say anything just because it's a high-risk pregnancy and she's 40 and you want to make sure that the baby's healthy and the pregnancy is progressing, but beyond that I'm shocked she was able to keep that from me."
In the weeks prior to becoming a mom, Asa posted adorable photos of her life pre-baby and opened up about her pregnancy on Twitter, letting her fans in on her journey to motherhood and how important her family has been as she prepped to welcome her first child into the world. "I've always loved and appreciated my Mami Joon enormously but since pregnant, I couldn't imagine any of this without her love and support," she wrote.
