Asa Soltan Rahmati Donated Her Namesake Kaftans to Homeless Women This Christmas
The Shahs of Sunset alum shared on Instagram how she's giving back this holiday season.
While it’s been a moment since we’ve seen Asa Soltan Rahmati back on Shahs of Sunset (save an adorable cameo in season 7), the talented designer has been keeping herself super busy. She recently hinted on Instagram that she might release a fragrance line, and is being the best mom she can be to new son, Soltan Jackson. In addition to running a successful fashion empire, Asa Soltan finds time to give back.
On December 21, Asa went over to the Elizabeth House, a California-based home that provides care for women who are pregnant, or moms who are in need. She brought with her a series of kaftans from her company Asa Kaftans so that the women would have comfortable maternity-wear right after giving birth. Asa also wrote about the sweet experience on her Instagram, posting an adorable photo of herself smiling with some of the women she helped.
“Elizabeth House is an incredible organization that offers a home to pregnant women experiencing homelessness and hardship,” Asa wrote in her caption. “It’s literally a house where they live as a family until they get back on their feet and the energy of Love and sisterhood was magical.”
Asa further went on to talk about her own struggles with new motherhood, writing, “As a new Mom I know how difficult it is to feel pretty because you are the last on the priority list when you have a baby. We wanted these beautiful Mamis to be pampered and feel as beautiful as they truly are.” Asa promises she’ll be back soon to help. “We loved hangin out and will be back very soon. Thank you for welcoming us into your house. We are truly honored and grateful."
