Announcing "The Vanderpump": Lisa Vanderpump Designs Her Signature Shoe
The heels designed with Ryan Haber will be available in Spring 2012.
We've always known The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Brit Lisa Vanderpump had style (have you seen her phenomenal house?), so when she was in NYC for Andy Cohen's Hamptons Magazine fete we had to ask her about the phenomenal shoes she had on. And more amazing than the perfectly pink kicks was her reply.
"This is the new 'Vanderpump.' I mean with a name like Vanderpump, you got to have [a shoe]," Lisa retorted.
Excuse us, what? Did Lisa really just follow her surname into a new career venture?
Yes -- that fabulousness is a fact. Lisa worked with up-and-coming designer Ryan Haber to design the shoe -- over dinner at Villa Blanca, of course. The result: a suede and Swarovski crystals closed-toe combination that stands on a five-and-three-quarter-inches heel in pink or black. The Italian-made creation will retail for $902.10 and be available in Spring 2012. That's the first snap of Lisa wearing the collaboration from Ryan's lookbook above. Ryan found Lisa's input invaluable -- the woman does own 300 pairs of shoes, after all. "She's a true style icon and has a clear vision of what she wants," Haber complimented. "She is the epitome of grace and elegance, with a cheeky, oh-so honest side that makes her brilliant. When I sat down with Pinky at Villa Blanca, I knew we'd be working together for a long time. I get her taste and style and she understands my passion to perfect the perfect heel."
As for working together for the long haul, Haber might get his wish. This shoe will be part of Ryan's debut collection "ALTER EGO," and according to Haber a signature collection with Lisa is in the works.
The shoes will hit stores in Spring 2012, but fans anxious to get their hands (or feet) onto the Vanderpump first can pre-order them (and get an autographed photo of Lisa) on RyanHaberCollection.com beginning on September 5 -- coincidentally the same day Season 2 premieres at 9/8 C.
