Andy Cohen Says One Housewife Is Sure to Surprise You When RHOC Returns This Summer

Summer can't come soon enough. And not just because of the good weather. We simply can't wait to see what happens when The Real Housewives of Orange County returns later this year. It was confirmed last month that Season 12 will premiere this summer, and now we're getting a small — but juicy — tease about what's set to go down when the SoCal ladies return from the one-and-only Andy Cohen.
"The new season is, it's shifting alliances. I think you're gonna be surprised by Kelly Dodd this season," the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host confirmed to The Daily Dish at the NBCUniversal Upfront on Monday. "And some old Housewives [are] returning and it's really good."
One face who won't be coming back is Heather Dubrow, who confirmed her exit back in January. "After a lot of careful thought and deliberation, I have decided not to return to RHOC this season. These past 5 years have been an incredible journey and I'm so proud to have been a part of such an iconic piece of pop culture," Heather said in an exclusive statement at the time. "I am so grateful to Evolution Media, Bravo and the whole NBCU family for all of the incredible experiences and the opportunities RHOC has afforded me and my family. However, at this point in my life, I have decided to go in another direction and do what’s best for my family and career. Should I change my mind, I thank Andy Cohen, Evolution and Bravo for telling me that the door is always open."
