Is Sterling K. Brown Ready for More American Crime Story?
The This Is Us actor reveals whether's he's in for Ryan Murphy's next installment of the Emmy-winning series.
As Ryan Murphy fans know, the writer/director/producer is known for casting and re-casting the actors he loves to work with in his myriad of projects. And as buzz around Season 2 of American Crime Story, which will focus on Hurricane Katrina, picks up, fans might be wondering if This Is Us actor Sterling K. Brown will be back for more given that he played Christopher Darden with Emmy-winning brilliance during The People v. O.J. Simpson season.
Well, he, like you, really hopes that's the case. "I hope that I get to return for Katrina. Ryan Murphy's expressed interest. I'm interested. Sarah Paulson's interested," he shared on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, acknowledging his Emmy-winning co-star (and Ryan Murphy regular) Sarah Paulson is also game. "If we can come together, I hope so."
Much like Sterling's possible part in the next installment, which will spotlight the 2005 natural disaster in New Orleans and the events that followed, the way the story will play out on screen is also being worked out. "I don't have details on the script. They're still working that out," he said. "We'll know something probably at the beginning of next year."
Below, we've provided further proof of Sterling's acting brilliance.
