This Is How Patricia Altschul Prepares For a Hurricane (Hint: It Involves Gin)
The Southern Charm matriarch won't be holed up at home without these essentials.
Patricia Altschul and her trusty butler Michael have shopping down to an art. (Have you seen the trouble these two can get into at Costco?) So, when the Southern Charm pals know that a hurricane is on the way, they make sure to load up on all the essentials. And of course, those essentials include the makings of a stiff martini.
On September 10, Patricia shared an Instagram video of her hurricane prep. Showing their haul from a "hurricane supplies" run to Costco, Michael narrated his way through the spoils.
"We just got back. We've got Bush's Original Baked Beans; we've got 25 percent less sodium Spam, which is absolutely delicious. We have snacking nuts, we've got Vienna Sausages in case all the power goes out, and we can't use the stove," he said. "We have Kind healthy grain bars which are very good for snacking, and we have Goldfish to keep our moods up."
After Michael narrated the spread, Patricia quipped: "Perfect, and all healthy." In her caption, she added that she also had some gin on hand.
With all the rations lined up, Pat had this to say: "Bring it on, Hurricane Florence."
