Shahs of Sunset's Mercedes "MJ" Javid Shares the Inspo Behind Her Lipstick Line

This past spring, we learned that Shahs of Sunset makeup lover Mercedes "MJ" Javid was launching her own lipstick line. Well Shah fans, get excited—because MJ's line is finally here, and the Iranian-American beauty spilled all the tea on her latest beauty endeavor.
MJ has long customized her own makeup–with lip gloss being the star of the show. "I always said, all I need is lip gloss and lashes" she told The Lookbook. "A lot of times I would mix colors of my own to make the perfect color." These custom creations quickly caught the attention of others. MJ told us that throughout most of her life, people would stop her on the street to ask her what lip color she was wearing. This ultimately led MJ to the idea of launching her very own lipstick line.
MJ teamed up with Aniise, a natural skincare and cosmetics brand, to construct Liquid Lips by MJ. The limited-edition collection includes three liquid lipstick shades; MJ (a cool-tone mauve nude), Natalie (a soft peach), and Vida (a dusty rose). I already have my eye on MJ. The formula leaves a noticeably soft matte finish that won’t dry out your lips. MJ also shared that each product is “paraben-free and cruelty-free," as well as long-wearing and kissproof.
