Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are now officially divorced and will share custody of their son, Jack, age 6. The former couple was married for eight years and announced their split in August 2017, which may or may not be evidence that the concept of the seven-year itch is real.
According to TMZ, Anna's superstar divorce attorney Laura Wasser succeeded in getting a judge to agree to pull the case from the court system and proceed with a private judge, which can speed along the process. There is a prenuptial agreement.
"Divorce sucks," Chris told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year. "At the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much. And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better."
"We have a great friendship, we really do and we always have," she later said on SiriusXM Radio. "It’s always tough to envision your futures as one thing but I think there’s a lot of love."
Chris is now dating Katherine Schwarzenegger (which has looked serious from the start) and Anna has been dating Michael Barnett this year.
