Kris Jenner Isn't Holding the Family's Annual Christmas Party This Year (But, Don't Worry, Someone Else Is)

The Kardashian Khristmas Kard may be canceled ... but the annual family party is not.  

However it won’t be held in momager Kris Jenner’s Calabasas manse — this year, it will move to Kim and Kanye’s house.

In decades past, Kris threw her annual Christmas Eve celebration, with food drinks, celebs, and a surprise performance. But Kim told E! News this week, "This year is the first year that Kanye and I are having our Christmas Eve party at our house. We're taking it over from my mom. She's still throwing it but it's at our house. We have a little bit more space."

Oh, so Kris still planned it. As she told Refinery29 of the yearly event: “I’m involved in every aspect of party — from the decorations to the gifts to the table settings to the performance. I love planning every detail, sometimes to a fault!”

Kim has put her foot down when it comes to a holiday picture of some sort for the family, with strict instructions on what to wear so she can squeeze out a New Year’s pic at the party.

"My goal is that I'm going to get a theme going of what the family should wear," she explained, "tell them to come 30 minutes early with a photographer, do a quick shot with everyone outside and maybe do a New Year's card. I might have to really say, ‘Guys, I'm planning this. I'm giving you a time, place an no exceptions. Be there or you're not allowed in to the party."
