Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes Are Cruising into the New Year on a $6 Million Yacht

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have allegedly been dating for around five years, but 2018 was the year that the notoriously private pair finally started showing major signs of PDA (aka holding hands on a Malibu beach as photographers snapped away). They've stopped short of the usual famous people's public declarations of confirming their couplehood, such as becoming Instagram official or actually talking about their partner in an interview; in fact, Jamie walked out of a live TV interview on ESPN in February when asked about Katie.

But this week they've done the next closest thing by chartering a multimillion dollar yacht together. Yep, just like all the other platonic friends that we know.

Katie and Jamie have been chilling in Miami aboard a $6 million yacht, where they've been jet skiing and paparazzi have caught them smooching. We're no body language experts, but she kind of looks like she's floating on air in this shot.

Could an engagement announcement come in 2019? When it comes to private couples finally surfacing, we've definitely seen it before. 

“Their relationship seems so much more serious this year,” an anonymous source claiming insider knowledge tattled to PEOPLE. “Katie and Jamie keep having public dates, and although they try to not be photographed together, they are clearly not as concerned about keeping their relationship private.”
