Heidi Klum Revealed That Drake Asked Her Out by Text, But She Ghosted Him: "You Snooze, You Lose"
The timing was just a little off for the Project Runway alum and the pop star.
Heidi Klum and Drake could have been the super couple of the universe if the timing had been a little bit different. The Project Runway alum, who recently announced her exit from the show as it returns to Bravo, revealed that the rapper once asked her out on a date via text, but she didn't answer him.
She had indicated while appearing on a February episode of Ellen that she thought Drake was cute by picking him in a game of "Who'd You Rather" over comedian Chris Rock. But right after the episode was filmed, she met her current boyfriend Tom Kaulitz.
"You snooze you lose. He called, like, a week too late,” she told Ellen DeGeneres in a new appearance on Ellen on Tuesday. "Someone who I know knows him and he asked to have my number and then he texted me. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is so weird!’ but then I never texted him back because I found the love of my life.”
Ellen wondered why Heidi ghosted him altogether.
"Like, what do you say?" Heidi replied. "'You want to go out?' And I’m like, ‘No.’ It’s better not to say anything. I’m embarrassed about it.”
