Caroline: When You Marry Someone You Marry Their Family
The Manzo matriarch opens up about Chris and Lauren's new life journeys...
Hello again! What did you think of tonight's episode? Can you believe how Vito came down into the kitchen? I almost passed out when he started drinking out of milk and juice cartons while standing in front of an open refrigerator. I didn't know if he was trying to prove a point or if this was the way he really behaved. In any case, I had to address it. I love Vito to death, but I was not going to allow this to continue. I think I came up with a good solution, to be honest I feel like this is an issue that Lauren and Vito have to work through once they get into their own home. In the meantime, labeling containers works for us, Vito is happy, and so is everyone else. I also wanted Vito to know that I will always try to come up with a fair solution to any issues that may arise through open and honest conversation...so far, so good.
Christopher is writing a children's book! I cannot tell you how proud I am of him. He works hard every day and dedicates his spare time to bringing Oliver Brightside to life. What I love most about this project is the fact that Christopher decided to follow his lifelong dream of writing and make it a reality. Oliver Brightside "You Don't Want That Penny" is available for presale on Amazon.com, go check it out! How amazing is that! I have a feeling this is just the beginning for Oliver Brightside and Christopher Manzo. I expect great things from them both.
The Scalia's finally make an appearance, and boy do they have a lot to say! I really enjoy spending time with Denise, Vito Sr., and the rest of the family, they have completely embraced Lauren as one of their own and that makes me very happy. It's very important that we all get to know each other, as I said on the episode, when you marry someone you marry their family. Why not make the road easier by getting to know one another, the more the merrier.
The next few weeks will be interesting; we've got trips, wedding planning, and more Scalias too! Thank you so much for watching!
