Yolanda and Gigi Hadid Stunned in Matching Gold Dresses for Gigi's 23rd Birthday

April 23 may not be a national holiday, but it's certainly a special day for the Hadid family and their super fans. The date marks Gigi Hadid's birthday, and the top model just rang in her 23rd year. Did you catch that? She just turned 23 on the 23rd! Obviously, this means that her birthday bash had a built-in dress code that was sure to dazzle. 

In honor of the "golden birthday," Gigi's adoring mother Yolanda decked herself out in sparkles that matched her ebullient mood. She also wore a luxurious color that matched the birthday party's theme.  

For the New York City bash, the Believe Me author wore a long-sleeved, golden cocktail dress by Tom Ford. She accented the liquid-snakeskin-like look with metallic heels, and brushed her long hair off her face to reveal a glowing complexion. 

The birthday girl herself also wore gold, opting for a short, heavily embellished look by Atelier Versace. The model also rimmed her eyes with metallic shadow. Little sis Bella looked stunning as well in a leopard-print dress with complimenting gold accents. 

Leading up to the nighttime bash, Yolanda shouted her love for the birthday girl from the rooftops (or at least from social media) with sweet messages and throwback photos. "Happy birthday my sweet angel, thank you for being the first person to teach me the true meaning of unconditional love," the Dutch stunner wrote.
